We took a leap of faith and bought a building so that we can bring top notch wrestling to Hanover, year ’round!

Our sons wrestled for the last 3 years and we found a need for more open mats and places to practice in our area! There are some great clubs that our kids were part of in the area but were either only limited to November-ish through March-ish OR were too far for us to want to travel.

We enjoyed this season so much, we weren’t ready to stop wrestling! And neither was our wrestling family! Our little tribe started with those 5 guys up top in Nic and Jen’s basement! We all felt a calling for something more and to be able to reach more kids and Dad’s in the area…who just want to make a positive impact on our youth!

The thought of opening an open mat club was something that kept making its way into my husband and I’s heart…at church our pastor read Psalms 127:3-5

“Warrior. Warrior. Warrior Wrestling.” The words kept repeating in my head until I couldn’t ignore it and we decided that we just had to go for!

Our vision for Warrior Wrestling is a place where kids of all ages can find their place they feel like they belong, work on their wrestling skills, strengthen their bodies, empower their minds, and feed their spirits….with a bunch of dads and a whole wrestling family, who just want to love and mentor them, as it they are their own.

As a US Army veteran, Coach Josh, my husband, wants to instill in our youth:
